Today...Alexandra (Ali) is officially "3 Weeks" old...and doing great! Our little girl is growing and gaining more and more weight...which means Mommy must be feeding her plenty!
Ali's Stats (as of 8/13/08):
Weight: 8 lbs. 3 oz. (she's gained more than a pound since birth--she's well on her way!) Mommy gets a little workout by carrying her around all the time. Her little legs are starting to fill out and are so munchable...and she has a double-chin too--looks like she's getting pleny of nutrients!!

She eats about 10 times a day (and poops about the same or more...we're going through a ton of diapers!!)--with after midnight feedings around 1am, 3am and 5:30am--Mommy is about used to her feeding routine and Ali is perfecting her nursing technique.
In fact, if you are considering breastfeeding your baby, I strongly recommend meeting with a lactation consultant--most insurance companies cover the fee--and the advice & techniques (and support) are invaluable--Mommy had our first visit on Monday...and our follow-up today...our consultant helped Mommy perfect her technique and help retire our shield...now, Ali is latching great and gaining tons of weight...win/win!
What's New
Grandma Jane and Grandpa Frank have been helping us around the house with laundry and cooking--and taking us to our doctor visits & grocery runs--we really appreciate all their love and support--plus, they get to spend some extra quality time with Ali--and she gets held and cuddled by everyone...spoiled rotten!
